Replace Faulty Carbsmart sensor, HKD$3

My os50 easily getting "overheat" as the carbsmart tries full rich at a few tic toc. The incident happens after the bird soaked in 6 inches water month ago. The engine does not lose power but the carbsmart tries full rich shortly after some 3D. The ring/ sleeve is suspected to be worn (due to water soaked?)
Right dismantled engine is rusty and the parts are jammed by rust. After some repair job and the carbsmart is still pushing rich easily. THen the sensor is suspected damaged as well.
Grounded engine temp. is only 100degree cel and the carbsmart sensor is suspected to get faulty, after 50 -60 flight.

Original CSM sensor is smd and is prone to have short life, due to vibration or overheat.

Replacement sensor :
Murata SMD Thermistor number: NCP18WF104J03RB
Resistance: 100K at 25C
B constant 4250

Temp test data
5.63K/100C and a 4.45K/110C

Temp. Resistance Approx rate of change(deg. C) (k ohm) (k ohms/ deg.C)
10 213 10
20 127 6
30 79 3.5
40 50 2
50 33 1.3
60 22 0.8
70 15.4 0.5
80 10.8 0.35
90 7.8 0.24
100 5.7 0.17

I use another cheap HKD$3 NTC TTC 1004 100k thermistor, which is available in most electronic component shop in HK.
After test the B value is ~ 4600.
temp resistance
45 37k
88 7k
100 4.5k
110 3.3k
120 2.4k
calculation can be obtained from http://www.doctronics.co.uk/programs/thermistor.xls
So it can replace the SMD thermistor, except to scale up the desired temperature by 10 deg.
(To be confirmed with eagletree log)
